Pinders Pond

We drove from Middlemarch through to Roxburgh Dam today - stopping in Alexandra to replace the doormat I left in Moeraki..

I dropped the others off at the top of the Dam, loaded the van up with all their camping stuff, and met them in Roxburgh after they'd biked down that leg of the Otago Gold Trail.  We had a very late lunch there and then they rode on to Pinders Pond where I met them again.

We all had a swim as it was seriously hot.  Then we dried off by setting up camp, followed by lounging in the sun with a coffee.  Thanks Twigs for the idea of carrying an expresso pot in the van!
