Boxing Day

Oh, if only life were this peaceful every day. Why on earth can't the shops all shut on Christmas Day AND Boxing Day? Why this incessant need to go and spend money buying stuff we don't need with money we don't have?

It's like a weird illness, or like a slow spiritual death....

Anyway, it's wonderful to have the M6 motorway so quiet for a change.
