Ending of a day

Phew, glad to get today out of the way. I now have 10 days holiday from work... "blip blip hooray".

Niggly day - everyone was impossible and unreasonable. Brightened up for a while when I got a "thank you" card from a happy client. It does you the power of good to know that someone appreciates you.

Home, glass of red wine and a very good book.

If I hadn't started on the wine so soon after getting in I might not have clumsily swished a load of crockery on the floor... oops. Luckily only one dinner plate smashed.

In case you are wondering.. that reflection in my wine is not a monster, it's the roots of my orchid.
