Stormy skies

After a restless night, we got up to a swelteringly hot day.

We mooched around a little, tidying up some of our gear from our trip. We had the two fans in the house going full bore all night, but it was still uncomfortable. 

It didn't dip much below 29 degrees celsius overnight and hit the high 30s today.

We went to the inlaws for lunch to celebrate father-in-law's 79th birthday, which was fun.

Then home for toasted sandwiches in front of the TV. We don't watch TV very often, so it's a bit of a change. Before the change hit, we headed down the driveway to check out the clouds.

Much cooler already, so hopefully a good night's sleep tonight.
