Turkish Van Cat

We had a visitor today just when I was thinking of going out. His ancestors came from Van in Eastern Turkey but not necessarily in a white van. Van cats are very often white, with teardrop eyes and a black stripe over the head (no, that's not permanent marker). Often they have different coloured eyes, but not this one. He seems to like the duvet.
