Clachnaben

Spent this morning up Clachnaben a very distinctive hill near Banchory with a large granite tor on the top. Companions for the morning were Sandy, David and Simon.  Lovely sunny day but windy with some snow flurries once we'd got to the top. Quite a few folk out and about including a lassie who ran all the way up and down and a hardy lad in shorts . Great way to start the new year and feel much better for blowing away a few cobwebs. Retired to the Burnett Arms in Banchory on the way home for a bowl of soup
