Old Cardigan

Spellcheckers tend to change Carignan to cardigan, so these Vieux Carignan vines are affectionately known as Old Cardigans.

We've carved the vine variety and year of planting on the on staves of old wine barrels and dotted them round the vineyard so walkers have a bit of interest.
