Can I come in?

We got up at around 9 a.m. and it was very wet and gloomy.  JJ went down the road for the newspaper, Saturdays only, and we sat and read over breakfast.  I looked at my watch and it said 10.55 a.m., which I couldn't quite believe.

Our son called around this afternoon and JJ shouted upstairs that there was a fox in the parkland, so I shot through to the bedroom to see if I could get a decent shot, which of course I couldn't.  As I came out I noticed the bedside clock said 13.30, but my watch said 14.30.  The clock does occasionally go walk-about even though it's digital, so it seems we didn't get out of bed until around 10.00 this morning.

A wet blackbird will have to do for today's blip, polar, oid.  I think we'll stick with blip but all silly suggestions considered.
