Park

Glorious sunny day, so we went for a good long play at the park. Matthew can now cross the rope bridge on the climbing frame all by himself - and had great fun running down the hill on his own too. Fun with leaves and sticks and his ball too, and he still likes the grown up swings. A really good time.

Bit of an odd evening as granny and grandad arrived in the middle of his tea and he had a bit of a meltdown. We suggested various things to cheer him up, but it was bubbles that worked, and before long he was back to himself. He opened his Christmas present from granny and grandad before bedtime and was very impressed to have his very own bike. Enough so that he didn't want to go to bed. (Thankfully he did and the rest of us had a pleasant evening and a lovely curry).
