Golden wall

We had a lovely walk with the Gussies in Bangor this afternoon, wandering around the coastal path to Ballyholme Bay.  It was a bright, sunny morning, but by the time afternoon came the clouds were closing in.  There was a wee ray of sunlight hitting this harbour wall, though, which I thought was a good contrast with the grey sky and sea beyond.

I hit the sales this morning and got a pair of boots - very pleased! The Ards Man and I also sussed out some new floor covering for the kitchen, to go with our new grey-painted units.  Now all we have to do is work up the motivation to move a very large, heavy fridge!

No 1 peanut has spent the day revising, dedicated wee soul that she is.  Seems like the holidays are over ......
