A Tangle of Colour.

Today was largely dark and damp, however, we had lots to do, so it didn't really matter. Although it had been good to have a real Christmas tree this year, it had begun to shed needles at an alarming rate. So, today was our designated day to pack away the decorations for another year. It always seems a little dull after the tree and lights have gone but it is also good to clean up, rearrange and feel ready for the year ahead. These are some of the lights which were outside this year, of course, I know that however tidily they may be put away, next year they will amazingly come out of the box in a tangle. Why is that?!
