X marks the spot!

Intrepid walkers we met this afternoon on a circuit with 2 rather grubby animals (ours of course - theirs was far too reserved to go rushing around in the mud but then she did have a very grey muzzle). I had thought that going this way might keep Luce slightly cleaner that going on the usual circuit - how wrong can you be....! But at least it stayed dry and the mud is nothing that a bucket of warm water could not deal with.
