Ring(s) of bright water

What great weather this afternoon! We had an adventure (going to Keswick by bus. Okay, not a very scary one!) and the weather suddenly turned bright and sunny.
The light over Derwentwater was lovely and a number of sticks were thrown to try and get Chloe into the best position in the lake. Trev is preparing to throw the next stick but I blipped this.
Anxious question: Is 'to blip' still a verb or are we going to be told to use a different verb???
