Time to clean the chain

and probably the rest of the bike too.

With daily life, and most of my working life, filled with software I quite look forward to riding my bike with it's entirely mechanical/analogue* take on the world.  Gill and I went out for a short ride yesterday partly to check her bike was ok after a few adjustments, and to get some much needed fresh air and sunshine.  With it being Winter and the recent windy weather bringing down a few loose twigs the bikes now need a serious clean. 

*apart from the GPS mapping, the heart rate analysis, the LED lights, the FB group we use to organise rides ......... and if you're listening Santa, what happened to my Di2 electronic gear shifting set?
