Locked in Love

As the two lovers approached the bridge, padlock in hand, they knew they were far from the first couple who were maintaining this tradition. They had opted to engrave their initials by hand, no shop bought, conforming padlock for them. They found a space amongst the thousands of symbols of love and loyalty and locked their offering to the fence. A train rumbled past. The lovers locked eyes, hearts and lips.
