A busy two weeks is drawing to a close and the workers on the beach are showing the strain. Check out this parachute helper's body language, slumped shoulders, bored look, and drenched shirt. I have seen countless parachute rides since the start of Christmas vacation, many with this very parachute. It is telling that they are still selling, and visitors are still buying, rides at close to sunset. In another couple of days the crowds will leave and our beach will assume a semblance of normalcy. Our lives, however, are about to get a little crazy as friends are arriving and our daughter flies in in less than a week.
