London Color

Colors including violet and/or purple on Praed Street outside Paddington station in London. We were on the way to  the Churchill War Rooms in Westminster--the extensive underground bunker from which Churchill and his large staff directed the British war efforts from 1939 to 1945. Miraculously, the space under a large building remained entirely secret during the war, and were also spared bomb damage.  Over two dozen rooms are on display, from the War Cabinet meeting room to bedrooms to crowded spaces for secretaries, displayed as they were at the end of the war.
