Lyme Park

A trip to Lyme Park today, which you might recognise from the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice - it was used as Darcy's house Pemberley. Unfortunately the deer park and gardens are closed in the winter, as well as the house, so we weren't able to go round the front and take a picture of the famous view from across the lake this time!

Afterwards we had lunch in a little coffee house nearby, called Lyme Perk - I think the owner must've been a Friends fan!
