To see Kate Tempest perform live is to experience raw poetic genius at hurricane force. She's not like any other poet or rapper I have ever seen. Seeing her onstage, one watches the lines that divide poetry and music evaporate. This 28 year old Brit, who is only now becoming known to wider audiences, has so much talent and passion she makes jaded concert goers reel. Go see her live if you possibly can - none of her videos on YouTube do her justice. She will change everything you thought you knew about the spoken word.
