Jurassic Park

This little common skink appeared as I was watering the pot plants on the roof top garden. I raced off and got the camera and when I looked again he was lapping the water. Poor thing, he is only tiny and it was so hot so he looked pretty happy to get a drink!

Tomorrow is going to be the scorcher at 41c I may have to get out early and re water everything and the little skink will get another drink too! ;0)

*edit...something weird happened to yesterday's image and it published on the wrong day! So today's image is also the wrong day. Hmmmm! I don't think I can change it as I would lose all the comments, I'm just going to leave it! Seems there is no longer any checking of the dates by the big Blip machine!
