Quiet memories

I wonder what caused your early demise, what heartache and smiles and sadness and joy you left behind you. You're a stranger to me, but I guess the memory of you never fades for those who loved you.

Time heals - but we never forget, and those whom we have loved stay close to us in our hearts even if they are sealed away behind doors which we leave well and truly closed to lock the sadness away.

But the wonder is that time does heal, and that we do move on, and build and grow and find new hope and new inspiration and new joy despite the tragedies that befall us.

If it were not so, mankind would have died out millenia ago, for the grief we bear is great. But life IS good.

What a lovely way to remember someone - to create a place for pondering and for stillness and recollection.
