Marine Archeology

We went to the Alicante Archeological Museum today to see a fabulous exhibition about the Han Dynasty of China (200BC-200AD)
Also on display there were some great exhibits of artefacts from ship wrecks found in local waters......this photo shows a typical excavation site with terracotta amphorae which held wine, olive oil or grain.
A great little museum, well worth more visits!
