today we went to visit our dear friends in Cholamandal artist village. i was still coughing and even feeling feverish, so although i REALLY wanted to go to the dance performances in the music academy, i finally stayed with them, lying most of the afternoon on the couch, with the 2 dogs nearby and Mala bringing hot drinks....a change from the endless days i have now spent in our hotel room, feeling too lousy to go out. 

then when it was already dark we walked to the sea: the moon wildy glistening on the  silver waves- WORTH IT!
