Foggy morning

There was a bit of a pea-souper in the Vale this morning. It burned off later, and the light was quite interesting by late afternoon - but I had already decided to blip the foggy trees.

I spent the middle part of the day taking down the Christmas decorations and packing them away. The house is now clean (within normal tolerances) and tidy, and I'm tired but quietly pleased with myself. Every year the period between putting the decorations away and getting them out again seems to get shorter and shorter!

Many thanks for all the kind comments on the terrier yesterday - he's absolutely filthy by now, but still preening himself and presenting his best profile whenever he sees me.
