Moss and the Two Bridges

Blew the cobwebs away today with a walk along the local part of the Montgomery Canal.

Great, crisp, cold but sunny afternoon and noticed this illusion, partly due, I think, to the sun and the lack of growth due to winter.

Looking quickly, you may be forgiven for thinking that there are two bridges ahead. One in the foreground and a larger one behind it, with the hedge running along the top and the arch of the bridge below.

In fact, there is only the bridge in the foreground and it is the hedges behind giving the illusion of an arched bridge.

Lovely walk and Moss is now sleeping in front of the wood-burner. May join him soon.
