The Humber Forts

Well today is my youngest birthday.  Sweet 16.  We started off with a visit to Cleethorpes/Humberstone Fitties  and the  Humberside/Tetney Lagoon which is managed by the RSPB.  I am having a competition with a friend this year to see who can photograph the most varieties of birds.  Well I;m off to a great start.  We just need to decide how and where to record our sightings. 

The tide was out when we arrived and I managed to get this half decent shot of the Humber Forts .  You can see these from the beach, but because today was so clear you can also see the lighthouse and wind turbines at Spurn Head.  I've waited so long for this picture that this just had to be my blip for today.

Anyway another meal out followed by Ten Pin Bowling as a birthday treat.

Christmas holiday ends today, back to work tomorrow.
