Belated Happy New Year

Now back in Sydney after a week away in Noosa.
Really unreliable internet and phone coverage meant Blip time was severely limited (forgetting my password didn't help either).

The relaxing trip was hampered when we discovered that my husband's gmail account (and possibly computer) had been hacked and they had managed to extract all sorts of information and jeopardised both bank accounts and credit cards. Luckily the banks picked up the problem but we are still disputing a 14,000 euro bill from a restaurant in the south of France!! The authorities tell us we are covered but still have to jump through a few hoops to get everything shipshape again.! 

There are some very smart villains out there!

So here is wishing everyone a Happy New Year full of unexpected happiness and no hackers!

PS RE Blip changes
I do tend to be a "Pollyana" (some people may say naive) type person trying to see the best in most situations and so it continues ....
I see many people are wary of the changes but I am hopeful that we will carry on with our community as before with maybe less delays crashes.
After all we are all using Asian cameras on US designed computers : we are living in a shrinking world but I am hopeful Blip will remain a village where sense of community is paramount.

I think this my be my longest Blippage ever...off to lie down!
