Opera In the Park Aberdeen

BP sponsor for 8th year the Royal Opera House live screened performance in Duthie park Aberdeen. The experience was actually better than live opera. 4500 there last year but even in the rain all ages turn out for this great family event. This group of teenagers sit on bin bags, rugs and drink flasks of tea. Great that Aberdeen is thinking about a City Of Culture bid. Its ambitions for City Gardens and new cultural facilities will hopefully deliver the sort of facilities the city and the next generation deserve.
