Forbidden City

Our one full day in Beijing was spent visiting the enormous and highly impressive Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square with our Son Rich and his Fiancee Jenny.  

We then went on to the 2008 Olympic Games park which was very impressive and blipped by Jane and Rich

This picture is from the top of Jingshan Park where you get an excellent view back over the forbidden City.   The scale of this place has to be seen to be believed.   It has completely disappeared into the Beijing Smog in this shot.
