Coreopsis Daisy

Flower of the day today is the Coreopsis Daisy. Yet another cheapo plant grown from a bit of root at the old house and transplanted here 12 years ago.

Last year we were down to just a couple of plants, so we made sure we threw the seedheads back onto the ground when we deadheaded, and voila, this year they have made a prolific comeback.

This is one of the first of them to bloom, and yes it's sunny outside again today!
