The only way is up

Does everyone feel a bit flat after Christmas, as if nothing nice will ever happen again ? It's cold, it's still dark early, and the bumblebees of spring seem a very long way off.
And to add to the gloom, some ******'s broken the angel in the church's nativity set, and we can't find its wingtip. Maybe we'll find it, after all the donkey's ear and the king's hand have turned up in previous years.
