MURMURATION

At dusk starlings gather from all round Stromness for their evening tall tale telling. These structures appear to be viewing platforms & are equipped with floodlights. there are three of them standing over a small jetty. After the "murmuration" they drop down to roost on the timbers under the jetty.

If I were a Stromness starling I'd fight like hell to get a place at the top - the guys down below must take a fierce splattering :o(
