La Galette des Rois

Epiphany cake day. One of the French traditions I have a preference for. The one who's got the lucky charm, fève in French (formerly a humble bean) has to buy or make a new galette  and this goes on and on until the end of the month (or until they're totally nauseated).

I gave birth on Epiphany day for the first child. The most beautiful lucky charm ever that year was my baby girl. Happy birthday my darling!
