Memories

Since I have lived here in Bournemouth for the last 15 yrs I have seen the Red Arrows most years and my daughter has spent most summers watching from the beach .
2011 was a sad year when Flt Lt Jon Egging, 33, died when his Hawk T1 aircraft crashed following a display at the Bournemouth Air Festival. This memorial was put up on the cliff the following year.It features three glass Red Arrows planes and stainless steel contrails. My photo taken at the end of a working day with the light going doesn't really do it justice

.The Red Arrow,s !
