The Rising Sun

In contrast to yesterday's sunset on the holiday period, today the sun rises on a new working year (last Friday does not really count).

The sky was fantastic on the journey to work, changing colour from pinks as I left the house to whites as I arrived at my destination. Just lots of air traffic everywhere - these vapour trails and the thin clouds they go on to create are a modern phenomenon, alien to someone who might have been living 80 or so years ago (or less, in fact)
