NEW
I cannot fit this one in any way with the 'Furry' tag within the January Challenge, except that I had to pick a few cat (furry) hairs off the background black!! It fits far more comfortably with the MONO MONDAY challenge of New, as this is one of my new Cath Kidston mugs I was given for Christmas. The heart-shaped bokeh comes from using the Lensbaby single glass lens with wide aperture ring and heart shaped insert. Cool!
Today is the first 'normal' day after Christmas - son back at university and hubby returned to work. I made my first appearance of the New year at the gym with a weights class (Bodypump for those who know about these things).
This evening is the first Tring Choral rehearsal of the New term. Some lovely music to be sung with Verdi's Four Sacred Pieces and Faure's Requiem. It is possible, though, that I will not be able to sing the concert as it is likely to clash with a big rehearsal for Bach's St Matthew Passion I will be rehearsing with my other choir, when the Spanish choir will be over to sing with us. I'll just have to see how it works out.
I have added another week's worth of blips to the January Challenge. These can be found here although I'll also add it in below....
January Challenge Week 2
A Week of Food Idioms
For those who want something more definite for a challenge, here is something to tackle - a continuation of the January Challenge. What we say is not always to be taken literally!
Tag your entry with IDIOMS and the number for your blip, so your entry for Eggshells would be Idioms14
You can get help and inspiration from this site:
http://dictionary.reference.com/slideshows/food-idioms#beans
8 Nutshell (in a Nutshell)
9 Apples & Oranges (comparison of things that cannot be compared)
10 Beans (Spill the beans)
11 Bananas (go bananas)
12 Tea (not my cup of tea)
13 Cheese (hard cheese .... say cheese)
14 Eggshells (walking on eggshells)
Do these in any order - you don't have to keep to the day's date
