Death of a Teddy Bear

Cocoa loved this teddy.  Nobody was allowed to touch teddy and he'd slink away with it, often attempting to hide it in the most ridiculous places.  I had to sneak it out of a hiding place  when it was time to go in the washing machine. Then the pup arrived.

Cocoa is a wimp and he couldn't bring himself to stand his ground against a teddy snitching youngster, gave up trying to regain control over his toy and lost interest.  I hadn't seen it in a while but found the, now chlorophyll covered corpse, in a corner of the garden where I don't often tread in winter.  I imagine Cocoa did try to bury him in his normal ineffective fashion, and just left him there to rot rather than share his companion.

Poor teddy... now in the bin.
