What Am I?

You can tell things are getting desperate when I have to go round the place looking for something to blip!  I'm sure you'll guess what it is, but I won't give the answer until tomorrow.

A grey, wet day today, so ideal for sorting out the Christmas decorations and putting them all back in the loft.  Also gave the pinking shears their annual outing by using them to cut up cards to make gift tags for next year.  Does anyone else do this or am I just being mean?
