Southwold

It was the last day of my hols, so I took a trip out to Southwold.

It may be photographic heresy, but I was somewhat underwhelmed.  The town is pretty (with some excellent delis and bakeries - salt caramel brownies...mmm...) but the seafront really didn't do anything for me. 

It may have been the dull, overcast weather and the general feeling of post-Christmas depression, but I was not inspired by the beach-huts.

The only perspective I liked at all was this slightly higher vantage which gave a view over the top of the beach-huts, so that they became a fore-ground element rather than the dominant subject.
