A day to remember
Today was the service of remembrance (Camelon Crematorium, Falkirk) for my Uncle Gordon (9th January 1929 - 22nd December 2015). It was a lovely service and though sad, at the same time, a celebration of a lovely gentleman and joyous life, who I remember with much affection. The eulogy given by his son, Colin, summed him up perfectly.
We say that at every family funeral, 'we must meet up and not leave it till the next funeral' ... So here's hoping all us cousins and relations can arrange suitably.
Here is Colin's daughter, Sally (left), along with cousin Tricia (right).
