paper or E-book?

A first for me; I turned up at book club with an electronic copy of the book.  There were only 2 real books. This is a record for the E-book. Mine's the iPad. I don't own a Kindle because I usually read the real thing, most often a secondhand copy.  After reading a book I either put it on the bookshelf to re-read at a later date or  give it to someone else to read or take it to the charity shop.  I like recycling second hand books.  You can't do that with an e-book.
