Rock Alpine Garden with more snow

The alpines are happy with their blanket of snow.  In the mean time I plot my escape.

On the weather side we supposedly went from -5F to 55f today due to chinook winds. Right now as of 9pm it is 53F (11.7C) outside. The snow is melting fast.

When i awoke at 6:30am the local news station was reporting 34F, a few minutes later 12F, and fifteen minutes later back up to 39F, my only guess as the first gust of wind came through it warmed the temperature temporarily and when the wind was not blowing it went back into the teens
