New slippers for Aino

Aino is my 91- year old friend, we share Finnish roots. She lives in an assisted living place nearby. On a recent visit she had told me of her need for new slippers. Not quite sure what would fit, I purchased two different sizes and took them over to her to try on. As it were, neither pair fit. I have to return the new slippers and look for something roomier for her swollen feet.
