The herring shoals disappeared from the Forth many years ago forcing the boats to travel further and further in search of catches. This had a big impact on the communities who love on the shores of the Forth.
Nowadays Limekilns in a pretty little village and most people commute into Places such as Edinburgh, Dunfermline and Perth for work.
