Oobleck!

Visited MOTAT today - Auckland's museum of transport and technology.

Some very cool bits and pieces ... lots of hands on stuff for the girls ...

... after making balloon aeroplanes and launching waterbottle rockets we went and played with some oobleck / non newtonian fluid ... or custard powder / cornflour for the cooks amongst us!

Punch it and it's hard - treat it gently and it's liquid! Very cool!

Oobleck ... such a good word!!
