Karangahake Gorge

A days excursion to the gorge.

First a train ride and back from Waihi to Waikino, then a drive to this waterfall and then further down to road for a walk among the mining ruins and a lovely swim in the river.

Indy said the best part of the day was having cake at the cafe.

Back to camp as they fire up the pizza oven on a Tuesday - but someone forgot, so now we find ourselves in the queue for the standard ovens. Not nearly so cool or quick. It's going to be a late dinner...
