eyes & ears

My veggie patch is moving in the right direction... corn stalks are happily growing what appears to be 4 cobs. And the bit of potato eye I planted nearby is also gaining momentum.  So all the watering that didn't occur whilst we were away was not lost on my garden.  Tomatoes are however taking over the landscape - smothering out the capsicum...yet to figure out how to rectify that issue (having already provided them with something to climb).  Interestingly the lettuce has not made it above ground...if one thing was going to be an issue i would not have thought it to be lettuce.  The pumpkin & watermelons are taking their sweet time, whilst the celery i may have been a little heavy handed on when i planted that (way way too much) ....only so much you can do with celery.

Day 2 back to work...started with 2 patients, discharged both of them home, 2 short stay patients prepped for their thing & came home.  Easiest 8hrs ever!!
