Epiphany

The 6th of January already and time for the tree to come down.  As always I have my trusty (maybe not) little helper with me as I remove the decorations to be stored in a large box till the end of the year.   Suddenly the room looks bare.
How quickly we get used to the festive decorations, a bit like the stars in the sky.  I read somewhere that if the stars only came out once a year we'd all be aghast and in wonder at their splendour ... instead there are nights when I barely notice their existence. 
My twin sister started chemotherapy today ... so I'm heading there now.  Much love to you all.
