Why are hospital buildings so depressing?

I've signed up for this new medical trial in preventative medicine*
You visit the consultant for a cuddle and have a day out the office.  
Course I could be on the placebo so may have just hugged a janitor.

We won't know until I don't age and die.

*we were having a check up for a small cosmetic procedure.
