Where's Winter?

4th of January & the snowdrops are up.
Now for a lot of you this might not seem odd - but we live on the edge of the Lake District at nearly 250m asl - for us this is odd! We often have snowdrops when friends have daffs & snow as they mow the grass - but not this year it would seem.
This is good for some I know - I'm sure the old folk in the village are very appreciative - but for me - the lack of a proper winter means that there's going to be a lot of van miles heading North these next few weeks!
